The choice between the Sony 16-35mm GM and the 24-70mm GM depends on the specific needs of the photographer. The 16-35mm GM is better for wide-angle shots and landscapes, while the 24-70mm GM is more versatile and suitable for a wider range of photography, including portraits and general shooting. If a photographer needs a wider field of view and wants to capture expansive landscapes, the 16-35mm GM would be the better choice. However, if they need a more general-purpose lens that can handle a variety of shooting situations, the 24-70mm GM would be the better option. **

35mm distortions refer to the unique visual characteristics that are often associated with photographs taken using a 35mm film camera. These distortions can include vignetting, where the corners of the image appear darker than the center, as well as barrel distortion, where straight lines appear curved towards the edges of the frame. These distortions can add a vintage or artistic quality to the image, giving it a unique and distinctive look. Photographers may choose to embrace these distortions as part of the aesthetic of shooting with film. **
